Season 1, Episode 2
The visit comes to a head when Ramsay discovers that Robert has been taking a percentage of the servers’ tips. He approaches Robert in his $100,000 motor coach to explain his findings, mandating that he calls a friend to explain the tip situation, only to be told that she left money with Robert. At that point, Ramsay storms out in his own SUV. Ramsay, originally thinking that Juniper Hill was a lost cause, returns with an appraiser to determine the value of Robert’s antique collection, only to find that most of the supposedly original paintings turned out to be reproductions and the antiques were not at all valuable. Robert, realizing his errors, apologizes to the staff. Ramsay further compounds the situation when he brings in former guests of this hotel to rate their experience, angering Ari. This led to the hotel’s refurbishment and relaunch, with Ramsay’s invitation to the locals to visit. The only change to the rooms was to repair the plumbing problem. The hotel went into foreclosure with debts of $1.4 million in April 2014. A year later, it was sold to new owners and reopened as the Windsor Mansion Inn.
Season 1, Episode 6
Ramsay visits a husband-and-wife-operated inn located at the former Roosevelt Elementary school. The wife, Tina, is a reluctant partner in an impulse real estate investment by her husband, John Hough, a former student of the school. The hotel has been plagued by unwashed linens, outdated decor, and a small kitchen. The food is atrocious. Gordon is served frozen shrimp cocktail, a mushy salmon and a soft boiled egg that is raw in the center. Besides the bad food the owner hosts a monthly gathering for a barely profitable murder mystery, in which he plays the role of Sherlock Holmes. After Gordon finally convinced John to see that change was necessary he and his team started the renovations. Ramsay’s team’s makeover includes updating the interior decor, devising a home-cooked menu that can be made from the small kitchen, and revamping the hotel’s wedding business. A wedding is celebrated the same night of the reveal and runs smoothly. After Ramsay left the owners embraced the changes to decor and menu and remain open with a steady uptick in bookings after the changes were made.

Previously on Hotel Hell I found out the upscale junip Hill Inn in Winds of Vermont is bleeding money so you’re losing over $200,000 a year we’re in trouble and it’s because the owners have spent a fortune to make this place look like an art museum I’ve always thought that you should live with
Nice things if you can afford them treating it like their own private Country Club I quickly realized the rooms were vacant because Robert and Ari have alienated themselves from the town and the in’s appearance is completely evening what is that smell smells [ __ ] it’s like someone’s shot under the bed
And instead of working with their employees excuse me bragging about excuse me excuse me excuse me I am the boss this place is [ __ ] they’re oppressing him like indentured servants I’m barely surviving financially and emotionally I’d be very careful about coming down on me too hard and communication is almost non-existent
Unless you [ __ ] ask how are you supposed to [ __ ] know well I have been asking I said where does this chicken so ask him again and what’s worse I was completely shocked to learn that the staff never get paid on time like pulling teeth to get my paycheck
You don’t get paid it takes forever to get my paycheck and when I do it’s usually something’s left out and when I confronted Robert and Ari in front of everyone all I got was excuses I don’t have a secretary Gordon I’m sorry are you always this pathetic they don’t have
To work here how dare you go on then you pump as [ __ ] don’t talk to me like that you still haven’t got it that this place is Sinking so far my stay at Vermont’s Juniper in has been shocking yeah but it smells [ __ ] and the root of the problem is beginning to show you don’t get paid I’ve seen with my own eyes how poorly this place is run but now I need to see

On a $29 menu half what Robert currently charges look at that $74 $29 let’s go good luck okay yes I can’t wait to see what Robert thinks of Julian’s affordable food when he thinks I’ve cooked it I asked him to cook a three course meal yeah he cooked
His lamb this crab cake and the dessert that’s the $74 version I cook the other meal I got hold of some chicken some sprouts and I used the crab and a butterscotch pudding with some caramelized popcorn $29 that’s what those three cses going to cost you okay juni’s three new dishes are fantastic
And fairly priced that would go a long way towards bringing guests back through the front door now that Robert thinks I’ve cooked them I bet Lov them talk to me excellent fabulous and the um Russell Sprouts are really good too you’ve actually Leaf them and it’s very pretty this is a much better
