Hannah’s Puff Pastry Danishes!
you can make your very own cheese
danishes right at home with puff pastry
it’s flaky it’s crispy and it’s super
buttery and a simple filling of cream
cheese sugar and mccormic vanilla
extract now that is key keeps it simple
and flavorful I’m actually going to try
a cinnamon sugar version as well with
brown sugar and mccormic cinnamon just
to have a little variety on my spread
now I’m going to show you how to fold a
basic cheese danish this is a full
regular sized one fold the corners down
do a dollop in the middle and the egg
wash gives it a Golden Crust then once
you’ve gotten your basic one down you
can really have fun with it I like to do
mini ones in this diamond shape cuz I
feel like it just looks very fancy but
it’s actually so easy to do with a
simple crossover cut then you can do so
much with your filling once you have
that basic delicious cream cheese base
you can do fruit I’m doing the cinnamon
sugar I like to mix Jam in I’ll even add
some lemon curd and look at how
beautifully these puff up oh they’re
stunning a lot of variety just makes a
more beautiful spread in my opinion and
you can leave them like this or I take
it one step further and I make a simple
glaze just mccormic vanilla extract and
some cream this glaze will harden after
a little bit so it crusts up really
nicely on top and it doesn’t get too
sticky and I just think visually it is
so stunning this is one of those recipes
that even surprises me whenever I make
it I just feel like it looks so
complicated but it’s very very easy
