Mermaid Lunch by @itsbrittwilliams Episode 1 “Lunch for kids obsessed with…mermaids!”
What’s on the plate
Crab-themed sandwich – croissant, fillings of choice, black olives, sweet red peppers
Palm tree – hummus, pretzel stick, snap peas, macadamia nuts (avoid using nuts for young children)
Beach – yogurt, naturally colored blue food dye, crushed graham crackers, white chocolate seashells, mango and strawberry sea animals
Mermaid tails – ruby chocolate and white chocolate
Turtles – sliced kiwi and green grapes
Fish gummies
today I’m making a mermaid themed lunch
for my daughter starting with a
croissant sandwich that’s going to
resemble a crab this is so simple to
make and really adorable you can add any
sandwich fillings your kids like I’m
adding mayo and mustard turkey cheddar
cheese spinach and salt and pepper for
the crab’s eyes I’m slicing a black
olive in half and adding each half to
toothpicks and to make the crabs claws
I’m cutting a slice out of the middle of
red sweet peppers stick the pepper on
the end of the croissant and you have a
cute crab next I’m making a palm tree
starting with hummus for s and adding a
pretzel stick and snap peas as the palm
frons and I’m adding a couple macadamia
nuts to resemble coconuts now it’s time
to make the ocean I’m using yogurt and
naturally colored blue food dye and
making a beach with crushed graham
crackers to look like sand on top of the
yogurt I made these really adorable
seashells by adding melted white
chocolate to silicone molds and look how
adorable these turned out this wouldn’t
be the ocean without sea life so I’m
taking mango and cutting starfish using
this fruit and veggie cutter and slicing
strawberries to C cut out little fish
it’s so cute how the strawberry seeds
kind of resemble scales with blueberries
for bubbles and finally it’s time to add
the mermaids I Ed pink Ruby chocolate
and white chocolate to make these mini
mermaid taals and they turned out so
pretty I added a few mermaids swimming
underwater more starfish and the Magical
Mermaid Beach turned out so cute now I’m
adding sliced kiwi and grapes to make
Turtles and I used kiwi seeds for the
eyes finishing this lunch with fish
gummies and that’s a fun mermaid themed
