Korean Food IS The Worst
Three types of bibimbap, sweet and spicy Korean fried chicken, galbi bbq? I would also say Korean food is mid.
But there is more to it. Even just a Korean BBQ has insane amount of variety. And Linda Kim is trying to show London that there is more to it.
Koba 2.0 serves everyday Korean food like sotbab or mulheo but in a find dining setting with reasonable price (not cheap but reasonable for the portion and restaurant vibe). You get free side dishes if you order an appetizer and free spread if you order bbq.
She says she wanted to bring chungdamdong restaurant culture (basically like a Korean version of Mayfair dining culture). You can also find more on what I didn’t like on my blog / newsletter (still writing it lol)
