Here in Western North Carolina we're waiting on the bad weather to get here. Makes me wish I could be in South Louisiana for some of that! Thank you Mr Bruce!
Watching these vids makes me want to pack up and move to that part of the country. But then I remember, "oh yeah, I'm a city boy." LOL! I have some experience in the country, living in Wisconsin and Missouri. Doing a little bit of hunting and fishing. But not enough to truly make it on my own out there. I suppose the best way to learn is to just be thrown out in it and be told "survive." LOL
I want to try that, Bruce. what sucks is that it's just me and hard to cook for one like that. lol I know all about that good taste that gets stuck in the bottom of the pan. One of the things I like to do is add some butter to the pan and scrape up whatever's there from the sausage or bacon I just fried and get it mixed in that butter and grease and throw two eggs in there over -easy. It's good! We know how to eat down South, for sure.
Love your cooking! Thank you for sharing your ideas, recipes, and grandmas ways. Really love encouragement to experiment with many different options thereby helping reduce some people's fear of doing just that!
Thanks Gator man for the food between you and Stalekracker I always have my bowl and spoon ready cause my maw maw always said you can put everything in a soup bowl and never go hungry.
