  1. I don't think that 3 courses for £30 is bad value;' especially with how good the food looked (and how rounded the small menu was); but I did balk a little at the markup on the wine. almost feels like a double service charge

  2. I’ll have your cinnamon! Those churros looked the highlight of the meal and definitely should have the cinnamon sugar! Thought the rest was average even for the price

  3. Great review. As a disabled viewer it would be really helpful if you could confirm whether these places are disabled friendly and have disabled toilet facilities please

  4. So could I go for 3 course menu and ask for starter, main and side (which I'd be happy with)? If not I'd go elsewhere due to the misleading headline price…

  5. The desert is cheap as chips, and starter is a few veg for. 60p. They just do a couple of measily dishes you are getting 1.25 dishes in reality and that is a tad pricey

  6. IF that was medium then medium rare would have been pretty medium rare which just saved the day for that steak.. pay extra for chips with steak that size would have guaranteed removal of service charge on top

  7. Got to jump on the bandwagon haven't I. A steak isn't a course is it? And 6 quid for them chips…. as a great reviewer once said, "chips/potatoes aren't really that expensive". And the sauce wasn't thick enough. If they'd have chucked some chips on the plate, i'd have said great price. Shame really. Looked good. Great vid as usual…..

  8. I love seeing all the gluten free signs on the menu too. I noticed that the UK commonly does this with Veg but not so much with GF like they do here in Australia. Very handy for those of us who need this

  9. Looked a really nice meal Greeno, but as others have said, it isn't really a course with just steak and sauce. I also think the wine was overpriced.

  10. Wine price rather excessive, but you can leave that, the rest decent value and somewhere that knows how to cook a steak as it's been asked for, so two reasons to come to Brighton now!
