The reason people lose a 50/50 is that the casino has infinite money and the player doesn't. The casino can absorb the win streaks, but once a losing streak brings the player to 0 they are done. It's the same reason people lose slots. Slots should be a slowly shrinking sine wave where the wave shrinks by the RTP percent, but all the casino needs is the bottom of the sine wave to hit the same size as the players bankroll one time and they lose.

And 2 – lot of ppl don't leave when they get ahead. Lot of ppl are greedy and play until they have nothing left! I deal and had a guy in for $500 and had em up to $6,000 and he STILL WOULDNT LEAVE! I begged him to leave ahead $5,500 cuz I see him every night and like him a lot. Good guy. But he's greedy. He thinks he's lost $10,000 this month so he's not ahead until he gets that $10,000 back. Ended up playing til the whole $6,000 was gone on Blackjack.
