NDAs… seems kinda illegal.
In private companies, I think NDA's are ok – at my old bank, they were for 18-24 month projects, and underscored the trust the company places on "hot", confidential corporate information, in specific terms. For the supreme court: I understand their perceived need, the court's products are certainly public; but publicizing intermediate products (like drafts) seems to undermine the process.
You are describing court clerks acting like they're contestants on The Apprentice.
Ima little teapot short and stout. Meeeellmmm rogue haha I bust out again yayayayai love playing hooooomahhn
Remove lifetime appointments on SCOTUS!
Ethics violation investigations Immediately into these complicit monsters who are breaking every single laws and Constitution.
This is very telling! What are they so afraid of? It is my understanding that an NDA cannot be used to cover up illegal activities, sexual harrasment, or fraud. I hope all of the people who are made to sign them are well aware of this.
In any other political context other than the Court, the DOBBS leak looks like a classic "trial balloon". Given his own position in that case, Roberts himself might have leaked it.
The whole system under Trump is now broken. There's a few federal judges holding the line but for the most part everything else is broken and or corrupt
The Stormy Daniels court.
Will ICE be dishing out the punishment if someone leaks the truth?
So, will SCOTUS judges have to sign an NDA, since they are leaking?
It’s possible SCOTUS trusts no one given the current political environment. Maybe there’s a Trump mole in hiding?
Given the criticality of certain decisions (a.k.a. Trump’s tariffs) and the public’s response, it is understandable that deliberations and draft comments shouldn’t leak.

If ethics don't support privacy, ethics aren't being supported by the system. Punishing whistleblowers for reporting unethical or illegal behavior is itself supposed to be illegal.
The group that is supposed to enforce the First Amendment is demanding the staff sign NDAs???? That is rich.
This cannot be legal. Child molesters and criminals desire NDA's. Honest people don't need them. We the people are paying their salaries. Time for sunshine.
Cheap justice John Roberts…
Thanks, Harry.
Hello my two favorite gentlemen. Good morning.
It seems to me that the secrecy surrounding the Supreme Court's deliberations must be absolutely preserved. There have been leaks that have been very detrimental to a proper understanding of the decisions (for example, in Dobbs). SCOTUS must control the communication surrounding its decisions.
