paying other people to cook for us is insanity anyway mate. we all pay rent or a mortgage and one of the first things we make sure we have is a cooker. Eating in a restaurant is the biggest scam in history.

Gary I hope you won’t torture yourself by going to many of these known-to-be-bad restaurants! You need to preserve your health! This place is amazingly bad, how can you mess up a jacket potato and a burger? It’s apparently just there to rip off the tourists!

It’s good that you are brave enough to try these restaurants. Occasionally reviewers do find a diamond in the rough and when that happens it’s wonderful. But restaurants like this need to be exposed for the scam artists they are. It would have been interesting to see who was actually running this restaurant.

This is exactly why if I am new to a place I will not pay until after I eat, if they will not do it I say thanks and move on to somewhere else. However, one look a that ceiling and I would not have even got to the table.
I have a tip for you Gary, if you can't smell appetising food from outside the door then don't enter. I travel the world in my job and that is my first test for entering any food establishment.

It might be bad, but you go into these bad places with too much anticipation that it will be bad and its a self-fulfilling prophecy. I think you are maybe a bit harsher on them then if you didn't know their reviews. If somewhere else which was good served you lets say those chips, or the burger, would you have been as critical of them? Not a criticism, but it would almost be better if you didn't know the ratings, judged it, then looked at the ratings after so no one could accuse you of bias. Perhaps the camera man could pick places and you don't know if its good or bad?
