When my mother passed away, leadership team at work sent me a card clearly signed by the secretary. Someone in the office I didn't know well at all gave me a card with $5. Broke my heart…she was such a sweetheart, always with a smile and ready for a laugh when needed.
Noice, I got guilt tripped into going into work sick, visibly sick. Also my national sized company only gives us 5 days of sick leave. And my crew is like 10 people, so no one can get sick without being burden on others. I love being a slave to corprate America. Land of the free btw.
I used to work for First Watch for nearly a decade. Most stores are like this, i would 10/10 reccomend gaining employment there if youre looking to be a server or cook
Not to be THAT person, but the pedophile in the White House has blocked immigration from Honduras. He will not let that child come here, even AFTER being legally adopted. I watched a short video the other day about a family having this exact issue after adopting a child from one of the countries on his updated list of countries no one can now immigrate from. God, I sure hope they’re able to get their baby girl home.
When my parents kicked me out at 17, my coworkers and my boss all showed up at my parents house, helped me pack my things, loaded it all into their huge trucks, and moved it all to my friends house so i could live there. I will never forget that.
