On day 3 of my journey onboard Royal Caribbean’s Radiance of the Seas I actually had the opportunity to try out 2 different specialty food venues, thanks to it being a sea day. Like I told you guys in my past videos, for this trip I purchased the ultimate dining plan, which allows me to have dinner at a specialty restaurant each night as well as lunch at a specialty restaurant during sea days. For this day I chose Izumi for lunch and Chef’s Table for dinner. Chef’s Table was an additional charge of $50 on top of my already purchased meal plan, but it was very much worth that money.
The ship has a dedicated dining room towards the aft inside of the Colony Club which they use for the Chef’s Table experience. This was my first time doing Chef’s Table on Royal Caribbean, although I have done a similar experience onboard the Carnival Glory. Both experiences were worth the money and although similar, each had an aspect that made it stand out from the other.
