Swrvice charge again 🤦 personally I'd like more sear on the meat. Couple of string beans or broccoli florets would have been nice on there. Wouldn't cost much for them to do that. But instead they want to charge stupid prices for it. As a quick lunch to try the place out that Wouldn't be too bad i suppose, still a bit punchy. Just one word for it really. London. Lol
The food/presentation looked okay and there was definitely some good meat cookery but I think they could have thrown in a green vegetable – beans or broccoli – or even a grilled tomato. Glad you enjoyed your lunch though and didn't feel ripped off. For me, the whole Salt Bae thing is a bit gimmicky, his crown slipped a long time ago. Perhaps we'll next see him in a kebab shop. 😹

This seems like a decent lunch – perhaps a tetch on the small side, and I would have wanted say a bit of broccoli with the steak. The starter and main looked quite tasty. ( I don't care for baklava, so I 'd not chosen that.)

Thank you Greeno,enjoyed this review,and happy it tasted good, loved the starter presentation . Baklava always seems to be walnut here. I have been treating myself to a box of mixed baklava and even those it only seems the toppings are different. My friend texted me a copy of the bill her sister,and niece payed for their experience at the NYC Midtown branch, all I can say is Oh my. 😊

lump of meat and a lump of potato no veg/gravy £50.00!!!…..that looks awfully cheap! not appetising at all would rather eat at home!
Next time your in Northern Ireland, can you review the national bakery dish called the Savoury pasty. It is D shaped like the Cornish pasty but more thicker rougher pastry, it has mince in it and compare it to a cornish pasty.

Thank you Greeno, and although I would love an airfryer, seeing the prices, I will stick to my gas oven. Food looked great but still slightly overrated on the price for me. 😄🤣🙃
Salt Bay may be a complete rip off in general, but to be fair, for Central London, for a quality meal in a 'named' restaurant, that was pretty reasonable.
Can the waiter speak with more indifference, please? He doesn't sound like he doesn't care enough.

Coming round your house for the steaks greeno food did looked good though where you were eating ,pricing was about right for where you was ,enjoyed the video mate 🎉
I think I could actually really enjoy that meal. Yes, expensive, but probably not for a lunch where it is situated in London. I too would not ‘bump it up’ with extortionate sides, but I loved the look of what you had, plus slightly different choices for a set meal.
You need a microscope to see that steak!

Steak was cooked perfectly and to end it all off with some Baklava not a shabby way to end the meal. Though at that price still you'd want more with it but thats what these fancy places do. Cheers Greeno
