Restaurants Got SO GREEDY… People Are DRAGGING Them?!

Restaurant prices are out of control and EXPENSIVE. People everywhere are dragging them for being greedy. From Waffle House doubling prices to Cheesecake Factory “shrinkflation,” $4 fountain drinks, fine dining scams, and sneaky service/health fees hidden in fine print, this video exposes how restaurants are charging luxury prices for cafeteria quality when the food bill comes. We’re breaking down inflation vs corporate greed, portion size shrink, hidden charges, and how to protect your money every time you eat out.
With the cost of living rising, restaurants charging ridiculous prices have more people considering cooking at home to avoid horrible customer service and not feel taking advantage of if a restaurant is overpriced.

  1. Part of this video is a repost but still great content. 🙂
That or you just responded to the same clip similarly.

  2. I don't eat out anymore. I refuse to pay for $25+ for someone that was $12 2 years ago.
The quality, portion even customer service has been thrown out the window.
Most restaurant food isn't even prepared on the premises they get it from a restaurant service like Sysco. If I wanted frozen food I would go to the grocery store and buy it myself.

  3. Starbucks got me the other day. 6.9 for latte (biggest one) so I pay. Charged 7.05. (They said 25c for cup, but on menu it only mentioned: 30cents less when you use your own cup.; so what is this first price.;; so confused

  4. Honeslty at the point I've been making more homemade especially baked goods. Learning how to make pretzels bc Auntie Annie's are getting more higher but skinner, doesn't make sense.

  5. These restaurants charge it because ya'll paying. Complaining….but paying.

Theres some kind missing comonent. And thesse is my theory ..you cant cook …as someone who can…i dont eat out.

But if you cant cook..you eat out and complain

    Thoughts Symone?
    Makw a video on that.

Eveyone i know that can cook dont eat out and complain.

Those i know who can eat out also dont complain because they have the money

How many ppl are charging this on creadit?

    Hmmm 😂😂😂

  6. Most people in this country cannot afford to eat out, ever. Yet they continue to do so. And then complain how they’re broke and can never get ahead.

  7. If you have a ninja or better …you can blend a steak. .i use steak to make burgers….ya'll cant cook is what im getting out of this

  8. 22:35 it's called Steak tartare is a French dish of finely chopped or minced raw beef, seasoned with ingredients like onions, capers, parsley, and Worcestershire sauce, and often topped with a raw egg yolk.

  9. Happy Sunday Symone, my family went to a restaurant last week for my sister’s birthday. I couldn’t make it but they brought me back my order. My order……appetizer 6 bbq wings $16.00, appetizers 6 crab cake hush puppies (could not taste the crab)$12.00 and slice of red velvet cake (dry) $9.00 total $39.46 incl tax. If I would have eaten at the restaurant like the rest of the family, I would have to pay additional $8.00 for the entertainment fee. It’s $8.00 per person not table. BTW, they couldn’t accommodate a table for 15 people or put them close to each other. Only 7 at a table or it’s considered a group and as a group, you can’t order individual meals. You have to choose from 2 or 3 meats and everyone eats the same meal. It’s crazy.

  10. 33:55 I'm sorry, but I was going to Pizza Hut buffets in the last few years they had it (which was 2019, they stopped because of the pandemic at my local one) and people 100% were not coming out for it. Their buffet was good and affordable, but the turn out was so bad most times that a recall them only having the usual sausage, pepperoni and cheese out, and told us if we wanted other varieties they could make us some personal pans because they didn't want to waste a whole pizza for 4-6 diners. A Lot of people get nostalgic for things, but don't realize the truth is they don't want it until it's gone. I've switched over to Cici's and Stevie B's pizza now, which are still around and the same exact experience that he is talking about. That dude just wants to complain 🤣

  11. Only in America do Americans consumers knowingly purchase overpriced products then get on line to complain about it when they already got your money dummies they don’t care about your complaints retailers will continue to play in our faces because the majority is slow so don’t expect prices to drop anytime soon 😒

  12. I know less for more is terrible but wasn't it not long ago people were complaining about way too big portions. Yes they should cost less

  13. 51:11 The reason the C is red is because it is the lowest score you can get. The C requires a mandatory follow up visit here in L.A. County. Beware restaurants with a C. Hot water is not to temperature. Insect/rodent infestation. Freezers not working or insufficient cooling temperature. Poor cleaning. Clogged grease traps. Kitchen fires. These are examples of the C grade.

  14. As a result of Covid I learnt to make my own fakeaways. Funny thing the takeaways no longer make them like they use to, so I prefer my own version. I also batch cook to avoid buying crap whilst at work as London is so expensive.

  15. 2:23 federal minimum wage isn’t a measure of wage growth. I live in SATX one of the top 5 poorest major metropolitan cities in the US. No job is going for $7.25. Every McDonald’s I see is going for $15. Not everything is $15 but nothing is close to $7.25

  16. It’s pronounced tar-tar! It’s meant to be served raw! 😂 Tar-tay tickled me! 😂
Yeah, I can’t. I’m not paying outrageous prices for a meal that’s not enjoyable. Even fast food prices have gotten outrageous for bad quality! I used to get Chick-fil-A breakfast every Friday. Until I realized I was paying $15 just for a breakfast combo!
