I save my bacon grease. And in my kitchen as I cook I wipe off my stove and counter and everything. I love to fry my bacon. And then it's not no mess really to clean up when I'm done
Just add a wire rack to your baking pan for even better results and put the bacon on it (and it makes it super easy to save the bacon grease, because who doesn't want bacon grease!)
Please everyone, be smarter than I was! I did this once and tipped the pan pulling it out of the oven, pouring all the hot bacon grease down my arm!!! IMMEDIATELY put my arm under the sink and ran cool water over it for several minutes. Took a trip to the ER with my arm in a bucket of water the whole way there, to keep the pain down. That helped a Lot! They dressed it and it healed fine over time. And the bacon was a yummy treat to come back home to. Lol. But do please be careful! 🥓💕
✨️Baking bacon in your oven will splatter inside your oven like it does when your frying it on top of your stove, so be ready to clean your oven. I used to cook my bacon on top of a metal rack inside my oven but got tired of the tedious oven cleaning! 😢
I've never had success with bacon in the oven. It takes way too long to cook, and the grease always gets under the paper or foil or whatever. Too messy. I'll take stovetop in cast iron any day. But hey – whatever works for the cook, right?
I've been cooking my Bacon like that scene the early 90's my hold family dose in fact,so that nothing new even the restaurant they too cook it that way so nothing new
I tried this twice, but covered the bacon with parchment paper, too. Excellent! Yet now, I put the bacon directly on the pan and only cover the top with parchment. The top sheet keeps it from curling. I wanted to be able to save all the wonderful bacon fat grease, and the bottom paper absorbed too much of it. Plus, the bacon doesn't stick very much to the pan (saving my parchment sheets for other things) but the bacon cook a bit faster w/o the paper on the bottom. I do preheat the oven. Best way to cook bacon! Thanks
Yeah, completely trashed my oven.I don't recommend this unless you want to spend a long time scrubbing. The inside of your oven out from all the splattered grease from the bacon, she has no idea what she's talking about, the right way to do it is to cover that bacon with another layer of parchment paper, but you can tell by her hair color she didn't figure that out.On her own

Thank you for sharing ❤
Well, from now on, out of the pan and into the oven.😊thx Natasha.🙏🏻🌟
It is the best way to cook your bacon because the bacon comes out crispy and not as greasy and it’s just good🙂

❤❤
Ahhhh, the flavor❤
Well, duh, I've been doing this for years!
Like that no mess
That is technically one serving of bacon in my book.
Yum

Why didn't I think of that? 🙄 Oy vey
Lay it on a draining rack in pan.
Love the sound 😍❤️💞😍❤️

I love me some bacon 🥓 🥓 🥓 😋
Very nice and good explanation as good cleaning easy. 😮😅😊 thanks you young lady.
The mess is in the oven. Wait until you have to clean the oven. 😢

What a waste the bacon grease is the best thing . If you’re not using the grease is throwing away the best part!!!
Girl don't tell me you just throw out that golden bacon grease

That's not real bacon, real bacon is not thin and nasty looking like that
Run the bacon under cold running water and it reduces shrinkage
Does the parchment help with the grease splatter? I hate what it does to the oven as far as messes
Finally!!! Someone who does this without aluminum
What about the oven and racks that get coated with oil?
0 mess…lol. why are you lying to these people.😊
I do mine in a basket over a pan. Heat gets under and over bacon. No paper towels needed. Grease goes into pan lined with foil.
That way you don't get the left-over bacon grease. Now what are you going to fry your potatoes in?

A George Forman grill also makes excellent bacon.
The only way I make bacon – unless I've diced it.
I use brown paper bags from a grocery store to drain the bacon.
It’s bound to splatter in the oven. I cook mine in my air fryer. I get the bacon grease and the pieces all come out flat and crisp!
Natasha kitchen, I've been cooking Bacon 🥓 this way for years and I'm sure I'm not the only one. You're not showing anything new! 😂
How do you keep the fat from getting all over inside your oven?
No way do I want to degrease my oven again
Sorry, that's an old way of baking bacon. NOTHING NEW!!!
