No Sweet and Sour Pork Chinese Restaurant in London
I pass by this Chinese restaurant in London every time I go to Soho. I don’t know why but I never thought of going in. I think it looks a bit intimidating from the outside. Not because of the price. But because it felt unapologetically Chinese, no filters, no softening, no explaining. It didn’t feel curated for outsiders. But maybe that was the point. Because once I sat down, it was nothing but warmth.
I think this is a first Chinese restaurant in London I saw that doesn’t have sweet and sour pork. I think though, it could have been spicier and I still think @barshurestaurant is the best. But Jincheng Alley is almost 50% – 70% cheaper than Barshu.
