Raaaaspberryyyyy …that will be my next one!
You’re just measuring those marshmallows with your heart!
You have to use the whole bag of marshmallows so there is no evidence left. Yummy yummy.
I've made this for many years. My only exceptionns were cherry jello and I pure'ed the cottage cheese to keep it hidden from a particular picky eater.
i make a variation of this a lot. i love it. i use a variety of canned fruits and jello to change it up
ambrosia salad with cottage cheese 🫨😍
Here in southern Missouri I make this with orange jello, drain the pineapple, and leave out the marshmallows. We call it fluff!!
My Aunt use to make this salad at Christmas with green jello it's delicious 😋
Hi – thanks for this video – brings back memories of the 70’s!!! Just checking – I can only find 20 ounce crushed pineapple – will this work ok?
Does the color of the salad have to match the shirt you're wearing when you make it?
I make this with orange Jell-O and mandarin oranges!! YUMMY!!!!
So pretty💗made this for 50 years of my life💓
I haven’t had this in years but I always liked it. Thanks for the reminder. I’m going to make it for the next church meal.
This is a great jello I will make this salad for Easter also can't wait to make this salad God bless both of you ❤🎉
Looks pretty but I think I’d drain the pineapple to make it a little thicker.
I make something very similar. We use lime jello and no marshmallows. It is requested at every gathering by my oldest granddaughter, the others are turned off by the cottage cheese. Their loss, more for us!
Do you think I could use cherry jello? I am not a fan of strawberry.
Have you ever added flaked coconut? I would think it would be complimentary if anyone likes coconut. I'd also like a fresh strawberry garnish added to each serving. YUMMMMMMM Happy Valentine's Day Y'all!
For those of you who want to “hide” the cottage cheese use an immersion blender to make the curds mostly disappear.
This salad looks lovely, easy & yummy. My mom used to make this only using lime jello. She only made it for Thanksgiving & Christmas. 😊
Had this growing up at different times. 😊
Nothing better than pineapple and cottage cheese!😊
Cottage fromage 😒
We have made this forever. We called it Pink Stuff! It has been a favorite!
I'm going to be making this at least by Saturday. I think the colored mini marshmallows would be great in it too and add more pretty colors.
i love your t shirt. i bought my husband 2 different shades of pinks in mens and then bought me the same colors so we can match.
Some of us don’t like biting into the curds of the cottage cheese, so I put it in the blender . The texture is creamy and you wouldn’t know that it’s cottage cheese!!!
Hi thanks for the sweet recipe great for Valentines I love cottage cheese Happy Valentines 💌 day to you both.
Could Sprinkle Choc Chips, on it, for the Choc covered Strawberries effect.
This salad is made with so many different Jello's. Orange, lime, cherry. Easy to make!
This is Nina. I would put in the fflavored marshmallows n they would look pretty in there for Easter cause they're different colors
I haven't had a pineapple marshmallow salad since Thanksgiving, so its definitely fitting to make this this week. It looks awesome!
I’ll be there in about 35 mins, driving from Flemingsburg lol! Love this salad but I am allergic to strawberries so I’ll have to make another flavor. Enjoy
I like cottage cheese with jello, mother used to make lime jello with cottage cheese and pineapple with a few walnuts.(sometimes she would put cottage cheese cabbage with lime jello.) whatever she happened to have. Needless to say this will be a definite recipe to make. Thanks for sharing. Happy Valentines day
We called it "pink stuff"
Another great recipe my Mom made in the 80’s!!!
28 ounce pineapple? Or 15 oz
You know, you used a 20 oz. can of crushed pineapple. I don't think I have ever seen a 28 oz can. I see the written recipe says 28 oz as well.
Melissa does rock! Thank you Melissa! (Your response to Tom adding in the WHOLE BAG OF MINI marshmallows was epic).
This is awesome. I’ll make it for my grandbaby. My grandmother used to make it with pistachios pudding and no cottage cheese.
