Nothing beats a good döner kebab after a good night out.
German cuisine has disappeared almost completely.All you see nowadays is spaghetti , pizza , burgers or döner. It's really sad. it is very hard to find good german cuisine in germany nowadays. There is a few still in Gießen like the Hawwerkasten. If you go( i had to make an edit because you have to make a reservation.And sometimes it could be months.That's how starved people in germany are for real german food) you should get the schnitzel with
Grüne Soße and the roladen. Those Are two different dishes and as a vorspeise i would get hand käse mit musik. There is more to germany than just bratwurst but you better hurry up because it's vanishing fast.

i agree with you they should bring the doner kebab to the usa. i had a few during the summer military training when i was over there.
Manti – especially the OG variant with that garlic joghurt and paprika butter – is one of the most underrated dishes on this planet

So Im from Canada and we call it a Donair. It’s from the east coast (Halifax). They are so freaking delicious !! Specially when you get it with Sweet Sauce & also they don’t need all that stuff.
A real donair is donair meat, onions, tomatoes, cheese & sometimes lettuce… with a sweet sauce 😊
