  1. In Germany we love "Milchreis" (milk rice) which is just rice cooked in milk and served with cinnamon and sugar. Absolutely delicious.

  2. My Dad, who is now 72, loved rice pudding, it was a treat for him on the farm. Broke ground in northern Edmonton, Alberta, and what you call Kongi, and I don't doubt it comes from Japan, is still to this day one of his favorite treats.

  3. There's a rotisserie chicken place in New Orleans. All they serve is rotisserie chicken and like 2 sides. Its cheap and very tasty.

  4. Rice pudding takes me back to my childhood. I think I might have to make some now. Never had it 'al dente' though. It was dessert with leftover rice and more pudding like when I was young. Might be an area thing though, mid west / plains states it might be more common.

  5. Even though the rice pudding wasn’t your thing, you gave a great review of the restaurant and now ALL of the rice pudding lovers in your comments have a new place to try. The same for the Mac-n-cheese. Your reviews will bring more attention to all four restaurants, especially for those not in NYC. Great video 👏

  6. side note the ‘all American’ is called that because an African American slave created the mac and cheese. Mac and cheese as we know is an American dish.

  7. Theres a restaurant in Wisconsin called Macs that only serves mac and cheese but in different varieties. honestly some of the best mac and cheese ever.

  8. Rice pudding is fire tho. Lol.

Mac n cheese has been a main entree for me since I was a kid for me and a lot of people. XD

  9. The belgian fries is similar to what they sell in other parts of europe! Reminds me of my childhood in Germany! Same cone fries + Mayo & Ketchup from a food truck.

  10. Pommes frites is NOT French for fried potatoes. It's French for fried apples. Pommes are apples in French. Pommes de terre (apples of the earth, literally) are potatoes.

  11. everyone in the comments: rice pudding
me: wait why didn't he go to auntie anne's 🙁 idk what else they have beside big pretzel

  12. You should grow out your hair and get a mullet-esque hairstyle. I feel like it would suit you so well.

  13. I think any one item restaurant that can survive in competitive new York. They're doing something right. Also isn't there a bunch of one item bagel, pizza, and ice cream places.

  14. Chocolate rice pudding is also fairly common in the Philippines, usually eaten for breakfast (alongside some sort of salty fish to balance out the sweetness). We call it ‘champorado’ :))

  15. as a mexican that rice pudding place would be awesome to have here ppl do like a lot arroz con leche ( mexican rice pudding)
