  1. I wonder what using those dried potatoes for hash brown or diced/country potatoes would be like? Because some of the work is getting the moisture out of the potatoes and getting them crispy.

  2. I made a brown butter ice cream in my ninja creami. It was absolutely delicious! HOWEVER. It completely coated my mouth with butter fat and made it hard to taste much after a few bites. The mouthfeel was weird and waxy and just not the most pleasant.

I think I just used far too much. But it was Devine. I mixed in some homemade cookie dough? 10/10 but a 1 and done move. Next time just a little to add notes of brown butter

  3. Hi guys – love this format. For the next batch why not try either "Blanket Dumplings" or "Dumpling Lasagna"; they look delicious and quick.

  4. I wonder if Mike is liking the butter cone because he was taking bigger bites. And "Greasy Lips" was taking smaller bites getting more butter than ice cream.

  5. So I normally don't leave comments cuz there's nothing for me to comment but for the potatoes that you guys froze and then thawed and then air fried could you then put them through a ricer instead of air frying them and if so could you match them and because it brings out more of the potato flavor would it then give it more of an earthy tone if you were to make it as like riced potato or mashed potato and is it specifically the normal white potatoes or the Idaho style potato or if you were to do it with a purple potato or a red potato you know like the different colored ones could you then get a different flavor because of the different type of potato I would love to see a follow-up video from eber's even seeing if that would be the case because for the science part of it since it is mostly the moisture in the water coming out and freezing I'm also wondering if it depends on the type of potato you use so if you were to use a scarlet versus using like a russet or a purple sweet potato

  6. censoring the items in the intro is giving the video like TV game show vibes and I am not complaining

  7. 8:48 I'm now thinking of that old Jamie quote of "Jesus can walk on water, I can walk on cucumbers, cucumbers are 96% water; therefore, I am 96% Jesus"

  8. I’ve loved watching sorted for years and only just thought, we have a fantastic culinary set up at the SEND college where I work in Dorset and it would be amazing to invite some sorted boys in to make a video with our students. We have a trained chef who teaches and I just think it would be something special! Definitely a new challenge for the boys.❤

  9. if sortedfood faking a tiktok trend, posted it on tiktok, and it becomes a trend, would it still be a fake…….

  10. Could the freeze/squeeze potatoes be a good start for rosties/hash browns to maintain flavour over grating and squeezing ? More cells ruptured etc…

  11. This summer… need to do a visit to Texas and/or Minnesota state fairs and try all the foods. Butter dipped soft serve might be the least weird.

  12. Hey guys I just wanna say thank you cause I did the "Marry Me Pigs in Blankets" which you have featured in one of your episodes and I gotta admit it was the most delicious dish I've ever made 😋

  13. The pixelization and bleep at the start is a good way to prevent spoilers, and ALSO a good way to make things look perverse. It's great!

  14. Two things: given you've got to squeeze out the water once the potato has defrosted, why wouldn't you pop it into a plastic bag (or two – ends twisted shut to prevent leakage) for the squeezing process to stop the squirting hither and thither we witnessed?
Poppy needs to be in on this experiment and give her opinion – as THE Potato Queen. IMHO

I still have nightmares about a family picnic organised by my M-I-L at (cholera) creek in Queensland.

  15. I love the innocence of Ebbers believing that commercial soft serve is "wholly dairy fat". I wish it were true, it should be true but I'm quite sure it's not.
