In Udaipur, I sat down for a traditional Rajasthani thali packed with dal, gatte, ker sangri, bajre ki khichdi and churma. Pure comfort. Generous portions. Bold flavours. For ₹800, it felt like a proper local feast.
Then in Jaipur, inside the City Palace, I tried a more refined royal style vegetarian experience. Same cuisine roots, but elevated presentation and a completely different vibe. Two price points. Bro udaipur is the worst place to try Rajasthani food they are now more influenced by Gujrati food as mostly people visiting Udaipur are from gujrat, jaipur is decent I'm also from jaipur but Jodhpur is next level when it comes to Rajasthani food, you must visit Jodhpur just for food
