go to applebees, chilis, longhorn, outback pretty much any chain casual restaurant uses cavatappi noodles for their mac and cheese pastas. probably because they all get their ingredients from sysco and pfg lol
Appetizer round comparing ones signature dish of the entire menu to a random appetizer of the other is just plain wrong

Cavatappi noodles are great for mac and cheese because they have a lot of surface area for ooey gooey cheese to cling too.
Guys, I can’t believe you didn’t get the spinach artichoke dip, the Parmesan crusted chicken or the chocolate stampede from Longhorn. Longhorn is absolutely elite and it’s probably the best chain restaurant in America.

As someone who worked at Outback for 5 years, left in 2020. Their food has gone down significantly. Its really sad to me, but its true. Every time Ive had it since leaving, regardless of location in FL and a few in different states and what menu item I get, it hasnt been good. Specifically the meat… and the prices are ridiculous now.

those steaks have been so overcooked. granted, never order a steak for delivery or to-go unless you can get it within 10 minutes of being done…

Now both Longhorn and Roadhouse have beaten Outback in a FF. Now we need the winners against each other to see who is the ultimate chain steakhouse.
It makes no sense to me when they don't do blind taste tests. Sometimes they do but not this one. It is more interesting when they have to guess which steak is from which establishment.
Everyone uses the same distributors..ie sysco – no recipes are truly unique to one brand or restaurant. The ease of eating out has cost us quality.
