Today we’re going on an ultimate 24 hour Iraqi street food tour in Baghdad. We’re starting with one of the craziest breakfasts in the world, and wait till you see all the other amazing Iraqi food we’re about to eat.

8 AM Rasul Kahi Geymar – Welcome to the ultimate Iraqi breakfast in Baghdad, called kahi geymar, a flaky pastry bread, soaked in syrup, topped with geymar buffalo cream and pistachio.

9 AM Sajad Abo Oruk – Just down the road we headed to the next spot, a Baghdad street food stall specializing in a different type of Iraqi breakfast. We tried Bagela bil Dihin – Fava beans and fat, and Makhlama – Iraqi omelet.

12 PM Iraqi Martyr Monument – Next up with did a little sightseeing in Baghdad before our next meal.

1 PM Abo Hamza Restaurant – Located in the back alleys of Al-Kazimiyya Mosque, this restaurant serves amazing home-style Iraqi food.

2 PM Al-Kazimiyya Mosque – This is a place you have to visit when you’re in Baghdad.

4 PM Haidar Double Falafel – How is Iraqi falafel? We’re about to find out by going to try the best Iraqi falafel in Baghdad.

5 PM al-Tahrir Square, Baghdad, Iraq

6 PM Haji Raheem Kebab – You can’t come to Baghdad without trying Iraqi kebabs, probably one of the most popular foods in Iraq, and Ahmed took me to this amazing street stall.

8 PM Maslawi Pacha – Another incredible Iraqi dish is known as Pacha – sheep head and organs, and the fried mumbar – intestines stuffed with rice – was on another level!

A huge thank you to Ahmed and Aya from https://enliltravels.com/ for arranging my trip to Iraq.
