    oh my god i love this episode. matthew lillard has so much energy and he really just says whatever he's thinking. he talks to you like you're his best friend right away… he's so charming!!!
    we live in a world where famous people are treated as fictional characters and are encouraged to fake it to make it.. this show says "come be real, talk about yourself and your feelings. tell us who you are!" and i have so much respect for actors who decide to do it.

    Matthew Lillard is an icon! I love that he's able to be vulnerable, that's such a rare and beautuful thing, especially nowadays, and especially from such a cool dude. Young men these days need examples of healthy masculinity like that.

    I'm not sure if anyone is going to read this, but it was a bit refreshing to watch a celebrity who turned the interview back onto the interviewer a few times. It felt very down-to-earth. It really threw me off when Matt asked Josh a question immediately after answering, such as, "When did you find fellowship? When did you find people?" ML is literally just one of the coolest down the earth people on the planet.

    Have always loved Matthew Lillard, been a childhood icon of mine.

    Yeah, not having a dad and seeing other kids in fathers day at the school was always a punch in the gut for me, its never easy. Glad to find people that are dealing with their own stuf and showing that is possible.
