   Went to his restaurant in the Chicago burbs for beef wellington- honestly, it was meh. It was cooked perfectly but I didn't like it. And the potato and leek soup I was served tasted like dirt.

    So…. the cash price is actually $150,000 and the job position is $100,000 over the course of the one year they would work at the prize location. So the way to get the full $250,000 is to be able to be in the job position as well as the cash itself. Contestants can, and have, turned down the job position in the past, which is how the info was found out.
