The Dining Room Lighting Mistake I See Everywhere
I’m begging you… center your dining table under your light fixture.
I can’t tell you how many times I walk into a home and the table is floating somewhere off to the side because the builder installed the light box dead center in the room. Then a china cabinet or another furniture piece shifts the layout, and suddenly the light fixture and table are completely misaligned.
This is not a major renovation. Moving a light box is relatively inexpensive, and it instantly makes your dining room feel intentional and professionally designed. Lighting should relate to furniture, not drywall.

That's difficult in a small basement apt space when your husband is a larger man and he has to squeeze past the table and chairs to get to the kitchen😮❤😅..its always moving back and forth
