After I recently tried some of your recommendations for the BEST soul food restaurants in Los Angeles, many of you jumped in comments and DMs, asking, “why didn’t you go to Soul Delicious on this food tour?!”
So, I went back there to try menu items I NEVER had before, to see if Soul Delicious deserves the title of BEST soul food in Los Angeles. And, all I’m gonna say is… damn! 😳 Is this place STILL a MUST ⁉️Let’s see!

As I mentioned before, Annie’s Soul Delicious is operated by Annalisa, and owned by her & her son, Boogie. For more than 20 years, they’ve been catering under the name, “Annie’s Edibles,” but after a recent request a few years ago to cater soul food for an event, word spread quickly that their comfort food is “soul delicious,” hence the new name.
When I first reviewed this place, Soul Delicious moved to a new location in the Fairfax District, Los Angeles, and was soft opening. Now, this place is booming via dine-in and takeout. And, they just announced a new location coming soon in Gardena, CA!
