I think itโs actually ayam pedas, not rendang, since thereโs no rendang listed on your bill hahaha.
In Indonesia and Malaysia, the letter C is always pronounced Ch. So Roti Canai is "roti chanai" and Roti Campur is "roti champur". If it's a hard C they use the letter K, like Komplit (for complete)

in Indonesian… the u is pronounced like a "oo" as in boo or the loo XD and the c is a "ch" sound
so its bOO-bOOr and aCHeh … many thanks for your openness to so much of the indonesian cuisine so often many travelers do rendang and nasi goreng and the occasional martabak and thats it
That one dish you asked about in which you had it in Malang called terong balado. Made out of eggplants indeed and some chillis for sure
At the Pagi sore restaurant, you don't eat rendang, what you eat is Ayam Pedas (spicy chicken) ๐
