‼️Street Food vs Fine Dining in Dubai with Chef Moon

This is exactly why I love exploring food in Dubai. In just a few hours, you can start with a simple street sandwich… and end the night with an incredible fine dining experience.

So I took Chef Moon on a small food tour before heading to his restaurant.

First stop: Falafil Al Rabiah Al Akhdar
A small spot that makes one of the best Palestinian-Jordanian style falafel sandwiches in the city. We ordered their crispy falafel sandwich and the fava bean sandwich, both packed with fresh herbs and flavor. The best part Chef Moon had never tried this style of falafel before, so this was his first experience.

After that we continued the street food journey with Egyptian street food. We ordered a service platter full of Egyptian classics, and one of my absolute favorites Feteer (Fateera).

If you’ve never tried it, imagine thin layers of dough stacked together, filled with cheese, cream cheese and puff cheese, baked until golden… and then topped with Egyptian honey. Sweet, rich and honestly one of those dishes you cannot stop eating.

Then we changed the scene completely.

We went to Chef Moon’s restaurant, where he showed me some of his signature dishes and the fine dining side of his kitchen.

This is the beauty of Dubai’s food culture.
From simple street sandwiches to beautiful fine dining plates all in one food journey.

Which one do you choose?
