Trying Every Restaurant on the NYT 2025 Top 100 List – Bungalow
Went back to Bungalow, which made the The New York Times Top 100 list, and I enjoyed it so much more this time around. The ambience and decor are stunning and the food is absolutely delicious, which makes it easy to see why so many people love it. Itβs officially one of my favorite Indian restaurants in the city.

As an Indian it's a bit weird to me how the rest of the world id obsessed with mango lassi. I personally have never had mango lassi, for one I've had lassi and mango shake separately. It's good everyone likes it I just don't understand why it blew up so much in the foreign π
My Indian wife has never seen paneer served like that. It looks good though.
The presentation on some of these dishes is incredible
Heh I always find it funny
How everytime when an Indian restaurant open in a white area or a popular spot itβs the same 4 dishes twisted around to make a sense for foreigners
I find it very hard to believe that if theses same foreigners were in real Indian restaurants they would like it
Form a personal experiance in nyc when I brought lesser known Indian dishes to a potluck barely anyone touched them yet had they tasted them they would have know that thereβs life beyond butter chicken, mango lassi kebabs and lamb
No hate to kaitlyn at all Iβve been a long time follower of her
yeah paneer can be served crumbled like that sometimes, not super common in curries (it's mostly paneer bhurji) but yeah it's a thing sometimes
Been waiting for this video for sooo longgg
Chef Vikas Khanna is a true gem from our country. He's sort of a food whisperer. Glad you enjoyed the food
