Inside Credence: Houston’s Michelin-Recommended Restaurant by Levi Goode

One of the few Houston restaurants to win MULTIPLE awards by the Michelin Guide in the same year⭐️

Today, We made it to Credence, a concept by Levi Goode, president of Goode Company Restaurants. The restaurant is Michelin Recommended, and its general manager earned the Michelin Service Award for exceptional hospitality.

The menu focuses on Texas ranch-inspired cuisine built around live-fire cooking, so if you can, try to sit near the hearth in the center of the kitchen.

Highlights for us were the deviled crab with smoky tomato butter, the parisa (a Texas take on steak tartare), and the warm pan de campo cowboy bread. For entrees we shared the dry-aged Sweetwater whole duck cooked over mesquite and post oak, an incredible centerpiece dish.

We finished with a coconut cream pie the size of a Star Wars destroyer and caramelized Texas toast.

If you’re coming here, bring a group because there’s a lot worth trying. They also have a beautiful speakeasy next door that I’ll definitely be back to check out.
