Hi guys can I just say that I have only just been made aware of the fire these guys had at another store not this one and I have given my honest opinion the reviews say it’s the worst chip shop if you watch the whole review I disagree and give reasons why if this has upset you in any way that is not my intention but feel it’s a fare and honest review of what I received on the day
Got to love those grey green chips. It's not every chippy that can pull that off. Could be down to an overdue oil change
Great Video Danny. You should try Fisherman dock in Greenock. The fish is Amazing. One best chippy in Inverclyde
Danny. 2 slices of fish is the standard in Glasgow for a fish supper. 1 slice is known as a mini fish supper
The blue lagoon is Boggin tried 3 different ones around Glesga
. My local is ten times better. That haggis didn't looked cooked in middle.

Blue Lagoon was always the Wetherspoons of Glasgow chippies. Changed franchise owners obviously now. I don't want to talk, just give money.

Fish and chips from the kebab shop.
The Val’ D’Oro chippy at Glasgow cross London Rd, is always good it’s been cooking for over a 100 years smashing value and plenty chips The fritters are tops fish is Fresh

Blue Lagoon is expensive rubbish. Only good after 10 pints. Much nicer chippies around the city.

Blue Lagoon = Absolute shit. Worst chippy in Britain never mind Scotland, Cheap stinking food and they overcharge for it. Only been No1 to the nonentities who frequent it.

Does the food get cold when people interupt you for convo's and pictures?
Do not listen to anyone from West central Scotland when they tell you a chippy is good; they have no idea. i moved here 20 years ago. I've tried every chippy that has been recommended around glasgow, Motherwell etc, Not a single chippy is anywhere near as good as the most average chippies in Wales. The poor people up here know no different.

I've been to the Blue Lagoon by Central Station and was scammed, so I've never been back. The pizza crunch was so disappointing! My local chippy in Edinburgh does a much better one than that. Also, in Scotland, we do a Fried Pizza supper, so no batter. I've only ever had a deep-fried Mars bar once. To tend to one, find chippys in Edinburgh that are in tourist areas.
I haven’t watched the video yet but I’ve been myself and it’s ridiculous they expect you to pay like 50p for sauce then the one time I did go it wasn’t good. You do need to try 2 chippys in Edinburgh though, the Chippy by Spencer is a must

As a Glaswegian I apologise Danny but the Blue Lagoon has been awful for many years now. Wonderful to see you in Glasgow. All the best for your new channel 👍🏻
Blue Lagoon is a franchise with varying quality across branches. Definitely not the best and there are far better places throughout Scotland like Anstruther, Marcos in Ayr or The Wee Hurrie in Troon
