I don’t understand why restaurants like to focus on fusions and trends when the original dishes are really good😂 like they should just focus on making a good version of it for their restaurant.
My best guess is these are nepo baby concepts. It screams more money than sense with no real understanding/enjoyment of cooking. Mapo tofu spaghetti is such an easy Win, I can't comprehend making it badly
I’ve made Mapo tofu with Chongqing style noodles (that is the name on the packaging, they are basically thin wheat noodles) instead of rice before (it’s easier and quicker if I don’t have pre-cooked rice) and it tasted great. I mean, it’s Mapo tofu. I’d imagine with spaghetti the sauce should be a bit thicker than usual but otherwise, it should work. Seems to me like they tried to over complicate it.
I…. I somehow didn't realize those pictures meant the temperature of the said train car, but honestly that makes more sense, I somehow was just thinking about the seasons them selves and nothing about the temperature 😂
Disappointing that those first two dishes sounded so good on paper but just don’t deliver. Happy the pea tips were still nice considering they’re a favorite food.
