  1. That's one of my favorite Cambodian restaurant and I'm glad you enjoyed the food. With the prohok dish, you're supposed to put the steak and veggie together and dip it. Because the prohok have a very strong flavor to it, so that's why you have to pair it with the veggie. This will help balanced the flavor out. Also, thank you for showing love for the Cambodian community β€πŸ™

  4. NEVER TRIED CAMBODIAN CUISINE BEFORE. I BELIEVE THEY ARE SIMILAR TO THAI OR LAOTIAN CUISNE. NO DESSERT⁉️

  5. This Scambodian restaurant is scamming you because half of the menu consists of Thai foods.πŸ˜…πŸ˜‚

  6. You chose the best one to go to. I’m glad you went with Monorom instead of the bigger or more popular ones that are not very authentic.

  7. the tek prahok sauce is not for everyone. it's made from fermented fish and alot of herds. it's been frown upon by other asian countries before. cambodians like to dip grilled beef and veggies with that sauce. it's an an acquired taste.

  8. Try more varieties. Like stuff chickens/frogs. Soups like somlaw koko( theres 2 different kind- one without coconut milk and one with). Somlaw somlok( one of my all time favorite), somlaw machew ( the one with all the inner organs is my fave, but others love pork ribs). Kop prahok or cha krueng. ❀
