🟑 Dhokla Recipe (Gujarati Style)

β€’ 1 tsp sugar
β€’ 1 cup water (adjust as needed)
β€’ 1 tsp Eno Fruit Salt

For Tempering:
β€’ 2 tbsp oil
β€’ 1 tsp mustard seeds
β€’ 1 tsp sesame seeds
β€’ 2 green chilies (slit)
β€’ 8–10 curry leaves
β€’ 1/2 cup water
β€’ 1 tsp sugar

For Garnish:
β€’ Fresh coriander leaves
β€’ Grated coconut (optional)

Step 1: Prepare Batter

In a bowl, mix gram flour, semolina, salt, sugar .
Add water gradually and make a smooth, lump-free batter (not too thick, not too thin).

β€’ Grease a steaming tray or plate.
β€’ Add Eno Fruit Salt to the batter and mix gently.
β€’ Pour immediately into the tray.
β€’ Steam for 15–20 minutes on medium flame.
β€’ Check with a toothpickβ€”if it comes out clean, it’s done.

Step 3: Prepare Tempering
β€’ Heat oil in a pan.
β€’ Add mustard seeds, sesame seeds, green chilies, and curry leaves.
β€’ Add water and sugar, bring to a boil.

β€’ Pour tempering evenly over it.
β€’ Garnish with coriander and coconut.
