I mean how can you enjoy the area when you are shoulder to shoulder with other tourists. I think it's better to travel to other Japanese areas especially for a first timer.

Next time you ever come back over to the USA you should try the New Jersey diners. It has the most out of any state and some ppl make a tour stopping at diners from north NJ to south NJ. It’s said there’s 1 diner for every 20,000 ppl. And their servings are always huge.

It is kind of a tourist trap. It is like how some Chinese cities have ancient part of the city but it's all new. The Japanese don't get crap for it because they don't overdo it. It is kind of nice if you can do the anime city thing and eat pretty food.
