  1. I guess after that even MREs have a chance.

    PS:

Ounce (oz): The standard unit for smaller weights (1 lb = 16 oz).

Troy Ounce: Used for precious metals, where 1 lb equals 12 troy ounces.

Grain: A tiny unit, with 480 grains in a troy ounce.

Pennyweight (dwt): Equal to 24 grains.

No grams, that is evil stuff Europeans like me use, but not proper US Americans.

  2. I kinda feel like you’re hamming it up for the camera. They’re not good but they’re not THAT bad. Lol

  3. You didn't do it right. Everyone knows that the only way to enjoy a TV dinner is alone, in a poorly lit living room with green carpet, with you sitting on a recliner and the TV dinner on a wood TV tray, in front of a TV watching all in the family or some other old sitcom. No wedding ring but a tan line from where the wedding ring was previously. That's the only way to enjoy it, and appreciate it fully.

  4. So now that you'd tried the bottom of the lot, have a real chicken pot pie. Mrs. Budd's has one with white cheddar and broccoli. REAL chicken, the carrots and broccoli not only have flavour, they have crunch!,. Nice sauce, not too thick or starchy, deffo not bland.
Downside for me was the crust, it's a plain chewy one instead of the nice flaky, slightly buttery one they use on all others.. Pull it off and enjoy the goodness within, I did.
I got a three pound pie, put it in on a baking sheet frozen solid at 400 for 80 minutes. I absolutely recommend it to any and all.

  5. So a reminder on how Chicken Nuggies are made. And this is TV Dinner, this is Mc Donalds, this is Burgerking, etcetera…

First you take a chicken… and whether it's already dead at this point is questionable, and throw it into a machine. This is that "Mechanically Separated Chicken" part of the ingreedient. They do not pluck it's feathers. They do not drain its blood or offal, just chuck it in the machine where it gets pureed into a pink goo.

For those of you who remember the pink goo from Fallout 4, this is what that is.

Since Pink goo doesn't "Look" like chicken, it is chemically bleached white

Because the chemical bleaching robs The flavoring of the chicken, which has also been ruined by blood, feathers, beak, talons and offal, it is artificially flavored back toward chicken.

The mixture is then given bindign agents which may be potato, may be rice, may be plastic for all you know, and poured into molds that look like dinosaurs and what not. Do you ever woner why McD's chicken always comes in 3 shapes?

That is then Cooked, battered, breaded and deep fried, and then immediately frozen to be shipped to your local restaurant or store.

The above is ALSO the same process that they use for the McRib and various chicken patties of all sorts

…I tend not to eat at fast food restaurants anymore…

  6. So elitist, i have never seen someone mime throwing up so much over cheap food. He's just making fun of people who eat this.

  7. Why the flippity floppity do the editors emphasize the sound of teeth scraping against the fork and the chewing and swallowing? It is impossible to watch this video. Had to quit mid way through the first frozen meal. Sorry Babby.

  8. I have to avoid most frozen dinners due to the amount of salt that are poured into them.

  9. Before you get to it, Banquet is the best, especially the Salisbury Steak. It’s its own thing, but it’s enjoyable.

  10. The fact that people hate themselves enough to eat this crap is just a sad state of affairs! Seriously "basic" cooking isn't hard, takes VERY little effort and tastes just SO much better… hell you can even just make something 0 effort in an airfryer and microwave – and get a much better result. Try comparing any of these meals to taking a handful of those cheap chicken skewers you can buy in a big bag in the frozen section and put them in the airfryer for 14 minutes at 200C/400F. While that's cooking take a bowl, put in: 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1 tablespoon of vinegar, 2 tablespoons of ketchup, 3 tablespoons of water, a dash of soy sauce and a tablespoon of corn or rice starch. stir it a bit, put it in the microwave for a minute, stir, another minute, stir – and so on till it's a combined and sticky sauce. Then heat a pouch of pre-cooked rice. There – try that vs any of these… it's literally childsplay!

    Want another easy one?
    Step 1:
Make the chicken skewers like the ones in the first recipe
    Step 2:
Grate 3 cucumbers, put them in a bowl, add 1 tablespoon of salt and stir it around for 20-30 second. Put them in a strainer and leave them there for 10 minutes.
    Step 3:
Take a bucket of Greek yoghurt 10% (2.2 LBS / 1KG) and add in 4 cloves of grated garlic, 2 tablespoons of dried parsley, 1 tablespoon of dried dill, 1 teaspoon of black or white pepper.
    Step 4:
Mix the yoghurt with the cucumbers. Grats you now have made a basic "cheat" Tzatziki!
    Step 5:
Get a tortilla or some other bread of your preference, add some salad, hotsauce – or whatever you like, a large spoonful of your Tzatziki and place the meat from a skewer or two in the middle – wrap it up and enjoy! Literally a goated meal in less than 20 minutes – aka the time it takes for your skewers to cook and the cucumbers to train! LOL – AND best of all – the Tzatziki lasts for like a week in the fridge – if you cook a bunch of skewers when making it you can literally have 10 meals out of that 20 minutes!

  11. I’ve found that anything with a hunk of “meat” in it sucks. Better bets are Italian pasta dishes. Stouffer’s Lasagna isn’t terrible/pretty good. Chinese meals from PF Chang’s are not horrible. 😂

  12. 33 minutes
I guess it shouldn't come as a surprise that the chicken in a Dolly Parton's meal would be 'fake breasts'.🍗
(No hate, I just thought it was funny.)

  13. When I was a kid in the mid 70s, around 6 or 7, I remember my mom buying us kids frozen TV dinners. These were the Swanson's and I remember them being .69 to .79 cents each. I suspect because they were cheap with little to no mess to clean up. I remember when you had to peel the tinfoil back off a tin tray. My favorite meal was the 2 piece chicken, corn, mashed potatoes with butter, and maybe a dessert like a sponge cake with fruit topping, filling or something. Maybe cornbread as well. I can still taste that peppery seasoned chicken and the corn. Wish I had one right now! RIP mom!

  14. This is an idea, but may be a conflict of interest, but maybe Hello Fresh would be up to it (HINT: get legal advice before doing a video on this, because it MAY be considered a conflict of interest), compare Hello Fresh with the food of other pre-made dinners and kitchen kits then talk about what their programs contain.

  15. When I meal prep and freeze my pasta bolognese I undercook my pasta by 1 minute and put it on top of the sauce to freeze and it microwaves from frozen in about 4-5 minutes very well, stir it after 2 minutes. My favorite is Stouffers Ramono crusted chicken. But I add pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika when I make it.

  16. You are not wrong about marie calendar's pot pie having actual chicken. Now it's all sponge.

  17. After watching this video, he is pandering too much to the camera and clowning around. I've had some of these meals, and they are not anywhere near the ratings he is giving them. Besides, they aren't supposed to be great. They are frozen meals. He is approaching this with unrealistic expectations where he sets the product up to fail. He is bait and switching his own effort, lol. Wtf. This guy is not anyone you want reviewing anything. You can tell he is not the focused context type of guy. His world is colored differently than most.

  18. I enjoy the Stoufers Creamed Chipped Beef over some Pillsburry frozen biscuit pucks. So good. (Lil' Tabasco to round out the Creamed Chipped Beef)
