Chef Danny Lledo gave us the best of Xiquet, featuring beautiful, rich, almost romantically poetic flavors of Spain. His Paella with carabineros and the Pork Iberico Wellington were mindblowing! 🥘🦐 This is a restaurant DC cherishes for a reason. You just have to go. Prepare to be impressed 👏🏼
Then Chef Nico Isnard of L’Auberge de la Charme in Burgundy 🇫🇷 came in with courses built around his travels. Adventurous & fascinating! Everything’s executed to perfection AND the modern onion soup dessert will haunt me for years to come. Who’d have thought French onion soup can be turned into a sweet finale? Incredible!
