Japan Vlog Finale: Fine Dining, TeamLabs & Baseball
This is the final vlog from my 2.5-week Japan adventure 🇯🇵 We wrap up the Eat Japan tour with some of the most memorable experiences of the entire trip, including a family-run two Michelin star dinner in Kyoto, a sake brewery tour and tasting, and one very unexpected pizza night in Tokyo.
Then it’s time for a few experiences that had been on my Japan bucket list for years. We visit TeamLabs, spend an afternoon watching Japanese baseball at Tokyo Dome, and finish the tour with an incredible fine dining experience at the Mandarin Oriental Tokyo.
After saying goodbye to the group, Scott Golden and I start our own Tokyo adventure with speakeasies, jazz bars, conveyor belt sushi, walks through Shinjuku and Harajuku, and a few final days soaking up everything we love about Japan.
This entire vlog series was a little different than what I normally create. These videos were filmed more as memories than travel guides, and honestly, they’re the videos I hope to watch when I’m 90 years old and remember exactly what this trip felt like.

This series is a little different than what I normally make.
This was my first real vacation in the 6 years I’ve been a YouTuber and I filmed it mostly for myself. These are the videos I want to rewatch when I’m 90 and remember exactly what this trip felt like.
Most of these are actually edited by my new editor Kevin (hi Kevin), which also made it possible for me to just be present and enjoy the experience.
So no… this isn’t a “perfect” guide. I’m not naming every place or turning this into a step by step itinerary and that’s kind of the point.
