French Toast
Soft, rich, and with a hint of honey and cinnamon – I love to celebrate the beginning of the weekend with this wonderful French toast recipe.

Ingredients (2 servings)

7 tbsp | milk |
1 tsp | honey |
4 slices | toast |
40 g | butter |

maple syrup for serving |

Cardamom hot chocolate
Hot chocolate spiced with cardamom and topped with a dollop of whipped cream is wonderful by itself and even better with fresh baked goods.
Step 1
Whisk egg until foamy.

Add milk, cinnamon, and honey and continue to beat until ingredients are well combined.
7 tbsp milk / 1 tsp honey / cinnamon
Step 3
Soak each side of bread in egg mixture.

In a frying pan, melt butter over medium heat and sauté bread for approx. 2 – 3 min. per side until golden brown. Cut diagonally and serve with maple syrup.
