Thin crispy lavash

This crispy lavash is the perfect appetizer and can be served with a variety of dips.

150 gall-purpose flour
100 mlwater
7 gdry yeast
15 gsourdough
olive oil

Step 1

Thin crispy lavash

Preheat the oven to 200°C/390°F. Dissolve yeast in water and mix with flour and sourdough, either in a standing mixer or by hand, to make a smooth dough.

150 g all-purpose flour / 100 ml water / 7 g dried yeast / 15 g sourdough

Step 2

Thin crispy lavash

Separate dough into two halves and roll each one out as thinly as possible on a work surface sprinkled with flour.

Step 3

Thin crispy lavash

Transfer the flattened dough to a lined baking tray and sprinkle with red pepper and salt to taste. Drizzle with approx. 2 – 3 tbsp olive oil.

Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C/390°F for approx. 10 min. until crispy. Serve warm with a choice of dips.
