beautiful crispy chicken Millan s hold

shorts holy God is it good it’s working
on some stuff for one of the restaurants
and decided this would be a good thing I
couldn’t stop eating it I could not stop
eating it and what’s beautiful about it
it’s A1 15 under 15 two people one
chicken breast beautiful salad light
delicious crisp flavorful and healthy
not a dirty word around here I know
we’re not known for things like this but
sometimes you want to not have deep
fried hot dogs no that’s not true if
you’ve seen our recent deep fried hot
dog episode you always want deep fried
hot dogs okay sometimes you don’t want a
double cheeseburger cooked and then cut
in half and finished on the gr no you
want that too pepperoni pizza garlic
bread everything we make we want
anyway okay here’s the plan we’re going
to make the dressing we’re going to cut
the chicken we’re going to pound it out
we’ll get it the prepped and then we
cook the chicken the chicken Cooks in
about 5 minutes less than 5 minutes
how’s that is amazing it’s amazing come
on stop looking at me just look down
here we begin with the juice of a lemon
and I don’t care about seeds I’ll fish
out the seeds after this is a good lemon
boy really good lemon yeah I could have
done it through my hand but I didn’t
want to stand
by continuing on about a teaspoon of
Deon mustard clove of garlic like I’m
just making a little bit so the recipe
below will make you more I’m doing like
a half a recipe about a teaspoon of
oregano half a teaspoon whatever it’s
all good some BFF for you that don’t
know it’s kosher salt coarse ground
pepper and granulated garlic give this a
little mix and now we’ll add about 1/4
cup of olive oil whisk while we do it
we’re looking for light and lovely and
that oh snap this is going to be great
let’s get the chicken you’d recognize
this as a chicken breast wouldn’t you of
course you would my go goal is not to
make an 18 ft Wide Chicken Milan it’s to
make a nice size one so this breast will
make two we’re just going to cut like
this halfway come across just continue

guy will now go into a Ziploc bag I’m
going to wipe the counter and then we
bash all right we’re back this gets
pounded to an even thickness you know
between an eighth and a/ quarter would
be

perfect nice and thin and this is why it
Cooks so fast all right let’s prep the
dredging station all right you know this
we have three bowls typical dredging
setup One Bowl goes flour just your
basic everyday allpurpose flour this one
will go Panko and this one we’re going
to season good pinch of our BFF like
that he going to get some garlic powder
like that onion powder don’t come out
too fast beautiful smoked paprika like
that and some micr plained Parmesan
cheese recipes below don’t write
anything down

boy this wheel mix hands really are best
fantastic and then the last one two
beaten eggs come on thank you and if
it’s your first time here here’s the
plan chicken goes in the flour flour
helps the egg stick the egg helps the
panco stick so let’s do it into the
flour just because it’s in flour first
and then into the egg doesn’t mean that
the egg automatically sticks sometimes
spots you can see it doesn’t stick so
just make sure it’s all coated and then
gently drip off drip off and into panko
beautiful make sure it’s all covered and
when it’s coated nicely we clean our
hands we get the pan we get the oil and
we’re cooking remember 15 under 15 this
could be 15 under 10 and while trying to
keep my chicken from coming apart cuz
it’s so thin and we go to the oil so
here’s the deal your 3 minutes start to
finish just wait for this to happen
because baby when it does you’re going
to be super happy if you see little bits
sticking up you just help them out a
little bit be a buddy to your chicken as
opposed to being a dick to your
chicken oh my God it’s so beautiful I
don’t need to flip it but I will just so
we can get a sense of what’s going on on
the other
side and that’s what’s going on on the
other side there was a time when I was
scared to deep fry anything Max bullied
me into it and now there’s nothing I
won’t want to deep fry if you have a
deep fryer yes you could absolutely
could do it in there but using a cast
iron pan it’s a excellent excellent

come under gently like that I love it
when you see the oil still bubbling away
W’s hot We Go From Here onto a little
rack to help it dry but now we give it
just a little bit more of our BFF when
it’s hot that will really make a
difference all right let me get rid of
this we’ll dress our salad and we’re
there and our salad is simple baby
arugula so here’s what we do come by
with our dressing and we’re just going
to really lightly dress it we don’t want
there to be heaviness anywhere here I
like lots of pepper on an already
peppery arugula we’re going to give it
some shaved Parmesan but right now just
a little bit of this type is good and
this we will mix just lightly your hands
oh gosh okay watch this move we’ll call
this our serving plate we going to call
this our chicken because it is our
gorgeous arugula salad sits just like
that it gets one thing and then some
shaved parm like this just make them
look pretty Cascade them around go over
here for those that like a little bit
more lemon to enhance and just a little
parsley and that ladies and gentlemen is
your beautiful chicken Millan arugula
salad well let’s get some of this shall
we I hate cutting on this but listen
that
that that’s what you want to hear that
beautiful crunch actually you want to
taste the beautiful crunch more
apparently the difference between a
Milan and a chicken schnitzel is that
Milan uses Italian breadcrumbs not here
I’m not a fan of Italian breadcrumbs I’m
sorry Italian people and Italian
breadcrumb makers I like panko for this
reason light crispy so for delicious and
this is half a chicken breast this is
enough for me and salad I don’t need a
whole chicken breast two people under 15
