Perfect for prepping ahead with minimal effort 🙂

-2 lb salmon
-¼ cup sake
-¼ cup mirin
-6 tbsp miso
-6 tbsp sugar
Garnish:
-chives
Steps:
1. In a small pot over medium heat, add in the sake and mirin, and let simmer for 2 minutes.
2. After 2 minutes, add sugar and miso. Let the mixture fully emulsify and set aside to cool, about 20 minutes.
3. Place your salmon into an airtight, sanitary container and add in the cooled miso mixture, making sure all of the salmon is coated.
4. Marinate the salmon in the refrigerator for one day, or at least 12 hours
5. After marinating, place salmon on a baking sheet lined with some parchment paper and broil 6 inches away from the heat source, for about 6-10 minutes until cooked to your liking.
6. Enjoy over a bed of rice or desired grain, and garnish with chives.
if you want to make something super low effort yet it tastes like fine dining you need to try this this is miso salmon this is my version of no’s miso black cod and obviously I’m using salmon but you can use this recipe for any fish the magic happens in the four ingredient marinades so simmer some sake and Marin for a few minutes before adding sugar and miso set the mixture aside to cool and then once you’re ready coat your salmon thoroughly and then you’re going to let it marinade in the refrigerator for about a day I know a day is a long time but trust me just let it do its thing the marinade was super easy to make and then once it ready you’re going to broil them for about 5 to 10 minutes until the top gets charred and done to your liking enjoy [Music]
