PARAMPARA — The Baithak By Chef Ananya. unfolded as an intimate gathering,
where the table became the quiet centre of the evening.
A Colonial Bengal–inspired menu guided the experience —
crafted to revive forgotten flavours and recipes from another time,
echoing the culinary legacy of the British era with care and restraint.
Across seven courses, the story revealed itself gently —
from mulligatawny soup and prawn cocktail,
to Pantheras, Chicken à la Kiev, and Lobster Thermidor,
followed by slow-roasted lamb,
and endings steeped in nostalgia with orange soufflé
and Ledikeni brûlée.
The vegetarian table echoed the same journey,
rich in memory and meaning.
This marks the close of the Colonial table.
