I don't think I ever expected this. I don't think I didn't expect this. But yeeeeeeaaaah
jennette having exact same (presumably) taste in food as me makes something in my childhood self feel so amazing in the kind of way that makes my body buzz like i just got electrocuted (i grew up having ed too and a parent who used food as punishment.)
Agreed about Jennette's writing style – it's very blunt, but in a very good way. I feel like that word has a negative connotation, but idk, I like that something can be described really well and really evocatively while still being to the point. No need for flowery euphemisms, but we still understand the emotion of a scene perfectly every time.
Damn this show is so good. I love
Jeanette. I love Josh. Both of them interviewing each other and having genuine deep and honest conversation is just so perfect and needed.
Definitely the best last words on this show
Jeanette McCurdy and Macaulay Caulkin were such different and interesting guests in the same way recently, where they are talking more about life than careers in a truly honest way.
What an incredible episode. Hands down one of the best ever. Love that she's a legit fan of the show too. That must have been a great feeling and I love that these 2 have so much in common. I feel like this could be a really good and healthy friendship forming. I'm really happy she wrote this book, I've known a fair number of people over the years who got into these really unhealthy age-gap relationships who thought it was fine, and luckily most of the time it ended well and they got out but ive also seen it do a lot of damage. I firmly believe one of the last straws that caused my best friend to take her life was having trouble coming to terms with the fact that a friend's brother had groomed her from the time she was about 12 or 13, among many other tragedies and issues in her life. I hope the film does come out so it can reach more young people and they can understand the signs and better understand how grooming works.
love this but why are we supporting Starbucks?
I love her so much, and i hope she is at peace!! She is an excellent writer and i hope we see more projects!!
Um, wow. What a deep episode. Really enjoyed this one! I feel that on a last meal, a heart to heart makes so much sense.
❤
incredible conversation and i also love that you can tell that josh really read and understood Half His Age. it's a fantastic novel, mccurdy is such a powerhouse of an author, and she's so insightful in all of her interviews. man what i wouldn't give to be able to talk to her for like 5 minutes, what a cool person. knockout episode of the show!
🐎
Josh, I know you've already done your last meal, but I really enjoyed Jennette turning the questions on you. Love hearing from you and would love to hear more ❤ love this episode so much.
I felt seen and I don't know if I like it
This episode was tough and amazing to watch. Jennette is a joy to listen to, and I love that she really created a conversation and turned questions back on Josh to talk about shared experiences.
Will you upload Emmy Rossum ate her Last Meal?
can i get a we love mezzetta tamed jalapeno peppers in the chat 32:10
Didn't know who she was until this, but she's wonderful. Great interview!
It's a rare interview when the connection between two people is so palpably felt. I know you gotta be careful with parasocial observations, and I try to, but it really feels like they might end up just being real life friends after this.
This was such an incredible interview. I'm happy for Jennette's success and grateful for her insights into her life through this video. Josh always has an excellent back and forth with guests and this was no exception.
We need more athletes on this show. Their last meals would be absolutely incredible.
Just so much better than Hot Ones. So nice to see Jennette.
the "lemming effect" when talking about disney when the entire premise was faked by a disney director who THREW lemmings off of cliffs for his documentary.
These dainty last meals just don’t hit the same
I was wondering how long before she mentions her mother and Boom a little over a minute 😂
She ain't eating nothing but Ozempic
