. In case you didn't notice the guy before me loves you.
South Africa is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. The food there is amazing. There is so much beautiful nature and wildlife. Cape Town is besides Bangkok and Tokyo my favorite city in the world. And the late Madiba is my hero. So many reasons why I love it, that Ben, Barry and Jamie are in South Africa and share their time there with us.
i need to start a food youtube channel just so i can go to amazing places and write the whole thing off.
3:20 It’s not more-ish. It’s just a lot more lmao
WOOOOOOOOO!
It’s not just visiting another wonderful country. It’s the total respect; we can all learn from the lads
I felt sorry for Izzy in the last episode, it was Izzy, right? Hope you're feeding her well too LOL😜
Chesa nyama, Italian, Chinese, Indian, and Chesa nyama again.
Maybe at some point more of the population will be represented?
So far it's leaning very heavily to ons side.
That’s fake gold. You can tell by the squared off shapes it created. Why would you fill with that shot.
You need to try pofadder wore and skilpadjies.
NOOOOOO Ebbers, in South Africa we BRAAI, no bbq for us
7:11 Ah, memories! Mike’s reaction to Barry leaving was CINEMA 😂
Thank you for instalment number 2. Here we go boys!!
Enjoyed watching Ben cook his beloved fish pie on The Recipe YouTube channel a couple of days ago. Worth a watch is anyone hasn't seen it.
I love this so fucking much!
Wish I knew you where here. Would love to have taken you on a brewery crawl in Pretoria and JHB.
Jamie.. Draymans Brewery Single Malt……❤❤❤❤
Growing up in joburg as half Chinese….. swallows inn was my favourite place to eat. Just do not look in the kitchen…. Ever
Found this by chance and stayed until the end.
My city! Hope you had a wonderful time. Please come back soon!!
My understanding is that this place is not safe for women at night, even the locals. I don't think that should be ignored.
19:30 I have coffee cups like that! It's a family thing ❤
Seeing Ebbers drinking a black label quart almost made me choke😂 but this is south Africa, we are all different, there's a reason we are known as the rainbow nation. People think there's so much racism here and it's not like that. As a white south African I have always felt the most welcomed and accepted when visiting my African friends❤ our diversity is what makes this nation great, and the food even better 😉
Pass-it-on idea.. The boys dont know who' comes next. They pick numbers and the 1st one starts but doesnt know who is coming next.
Imagine not knowing that Jamie, is coming after you. How can one prepare for that.
Glad Ben mentioned the injera looking like tripe. I was a but put off by that the first time I had it. Tripe is one of the few bits of offal I don't like. But the injera is wonderful stuff, edible plates are always fun.
Fabulous!! I learned so much. I adore when you guys travel! It all looks delicous.
Chinese and Ethiopian food has got nothing to do with South African food.
They took you to the wrong people and places
NOT SOUTH AFRICAN AT ALL!!!!!!!!!
Quote of the Day: “You travel the world in a few blocks.”
Welcome to South Africa! You better visit Port Elizabeth in the Eastern Cape province too. You must simply try traditional Bobotie, milk tart and koeksisters (both Boer and Muslim versions).
Hope you guys made it after that offal. If you ever try South African food, by careful where you try offal, as some people are not the cleanest in the prep. Shall say no more.😅
The "back of a 1990's board game" thumb nail always makes me chuckle.
How can Barry keep going on these trips, eating that much and still not have a gut the size of Santa Claus?
Johannesburg Sucks! Pot holes, corruption & crime reigns as king and not to mention, no ocean. And also gents, please don't get robbed or hijacked. It is a real worry in that place, lived there and hated it. You need to be on guard all the time, walking, taking uber because the local taxi drivers chase you or blocks off the road, at a traffic lights thanks to hijackings. You are not even safe in your own home or when you go to sleep, we had security gates at all the doors and bars on the windows and then another gate in the passage leading to the bedrooms . Cape Town is still the best.
I love you guys, but imo there are too many travel videos atm. First Malta, now SA. I like seeing you promote tourism from time to time – it's fun to watch you abroad. But the main focus should be on your cooking and games.
Yep. Yep. Got sweaty palms just walking that ride up to the top of the tower…
I grew up in this city and moved back a year ago after swearing I’d never live here again. What a gift to view it through this fresh lens. Thank you!
14:16 Barry calling Pani Puri a crunchy smoothie is the food journalism I signed up for 😂
Chesa Nyama done twice, but no kota? Oh well, next you're coming to our Mother City. Hopefully you'll have more braai and sooo much more. 24 hours is an insult to our cities, you'd best be back.
Could you try making something with bananas and rice?
Aw I wish I could have met you guys while you were here😂😢
