Please spend your money on the locals, travelers!! This really helps stimulate local economies +small businesses vs corporations and the elites who hoard and hide behind segregation!! Do what Mark does!! It helps a lot!!
The magwinya sandwich sharing was so human and so wholesome.
Mark your amazing you teaching us about our own country bless you my man..
❤❤❤❤❤
full of high calories food. why?
Mark, you should hook up with Bounty , they would probably give you free towels to wipe up. Strap a towel holder across your chest, may be an automatic dispenser would be nice. Great job, navigating among these culinary food choices and food cultures.
I can't take taco bell, this is next level!
No disrespect to the people of South Africa, their food, or culture but she lost me when she added bile, to the meat. That’s a big nope for me.
everything i see, every country has just named differently
Well done Mark South African foods are the best.Proudly South African
Beautiful, fantastic
host and great selection, really represents South Africa
I love chicken feet. I have some in my fridge right now in California in the USA. I also like liver. None of this food is weird. It would be a great place to live if you were on a low carb diet. You could literally eat meat and beans all day and have variety and never get bored with your food.
The lady in the Thumbnail looks like Skeletor from Masters of the Universe 😂
love me some mark twain but this food nope
I love how your experience is so personal and in touch !!! Enjoyed every moment
It's been a journey since your wife was pregnant 🤗thanks soooo much for being such a lovely human love how you do not judge and just eat everything with an absolute smile ❤❤❤proud South African to see your basically show the whole world our beautiful cuisine 😋😋
The Afrikaans name for those stunning rostile is "roosterkoek", i.e. bread made on the grill.
Black South african food. There's a lot more to this country. Much better food
You have to appreciate the locals being creative and providing an income for their families…. Much admired from America!!! Beautiful beautiful people!!!!!❤❤

Did I hear him say mchuuzi? That is Swahili for soup!
Shout out to Phumelele for sharing a part of South Africa's food culture with Mark Weins❤
Mark Wiens never disappoint …. I love those roastile.
Love Mark for having a full experience 🙌🏽 thank you for showing our small vendors ❤
People African see this is the problem the ancestors are dead. They’re dead. OK that’s what’s wrong with the continent of Africa. They keep on giving the ancestors credit. The credit goes to Jesus Christ who is Lord of Lord King of Kings. He’s God don’t be given the ancestors, no credit, this is why the continent of Africa got a problem. You think God’s happy about that. Our ancestors are dead. They’re dead. They are dead people dead my goodness as soon as you understand this Africa, then you know the truth yeah we had our ancestors, but they’re dead they’re dead.
What stands out to me, is the lack of sinks, running water, and people washing their hands whilst cooking meals. Then, when you eat the food, there is a preference to eat with your unwashed hands (no utensils) as you share a plate with your mate, who is dripping meat juices and saliva back into the shared plate.
Mark my u continue giving as wonderful videos until you are in your 90's thank you bro for your videos of different cultures around the world
Phume is by far my favourite guide💯💥
I love how enthusiastic you are Mark and you visiting these areas. This is part of Cape Town and makes me yearn to go back home. I used to frequent these areas as a child with my parents and truly the food is excellent and the people are friendly and welcoming. We are friendly and welcoming. 😂 Thank you for showing the real South Africa.
❤❤❤
