The Takeaway Hoping TO END RACISM | TFT | Food Review

In today’s video, I’m checking out Marlow’s British Kitchen, a relatively new spot that’s only been open since September last year, but already making serious waves.

They serve a proper mix of comfort food classics and crowd-pleasers — fish and chips, chicken burgers, salt & pepper chips, chicken wings, plus a full range of desserts, milkshakes, and cakes.

I went straight in with the Haddock and chips, which was honestly one of the best fish and chips I’ve had in a very long time — perfectly cooked fish, beautiful batter, and spot-on chips. Then I tried something a bit different: their Bombay fish and chips, which adds an Eastern twist to a traditional British classic. It was bold, full of flavour, and worked far better than I expected.

The service was fantastic, really warm and welcoming, and the interior felt cosy, friendly, and hospitable — the kind of place you instantly feel comfortable in. I genuinely can’t speak highly enough of it.

Hands down, this is one of my favourite takeaways / restaurants I’ve been to in the past year. If you’re a fish and chips fan, this is a place you seriously need to try.
