Loved the south african series. Well done boys.
For your next adventure, can we have another in another african country? Have never heard much of their cuisine. Google says Ethiopia, Moroccan, Nigeria. Please 🙏
South Korea
That silo is awesome!
New Zealand!!!!
Absolutely amazing, the only thing missing is baz bathrooms and hugs reviews
Come to the french speeking Québec Province of Canada. Where old tradition, regional, indigenous and multi ethnic cuisines and gastronomy. Where Anthony Bourdain said of his favourite ''country'' :Where "Too Much" Is Just Right
Mongolia
Biltong wins over Jerky any day of the year no doubt there. Now that has been an absolute amazing series loved it, Oh where next, Thailand, Australia, Korea, Vietnam. Though Australia is a big mix of food cultures too
Most definitely Australia
I would love to see one of the normals enter MasterChef, just to see how well they could do
Come to New Zealand next and experience a proper hangi!
YALL NEED TO COME TO NEPALL. YALL HAVEN'T TRIED ANYTHING AUTHENTIC NEPALESE IN ALMOST 20 YEARS
Loved the series. Now, take what you learned and get back into the kitchen. You task is to either replicate one of your favorites, or (as a chef) try to improve upon a S. African dish that you had.
Guys please do one more video for the £100 takeaway for Barry this time
I kind of want to see them do mexico
SA Tourism gives you a guide and he's laughing telling you the gatsby is eaten by drunkards.WOW,That's a low level insult and a disgrace.SA tourism must apologize for using such incompetent foreigners.
can't say the first couple of episodes inspired me with south african cuisine, but this one with its cape malay and chef's warehouse [and fresh biltong] gave me a little more hope for it…
Sorted's joy at experiences new places is so fantastic! I love how into everything the boys get!
Omg I missed a video! All the thumbnails looked the same…maybe add a number in the corner or something 😅
such a fun series!
You guys should go to Greece next or maybe even Spain
Slup chips not slap chips!
Australia!!!
I may be wrong, but in the time out market segment, I think Jamie's mic may be on the wrong side of his shirt. sounded fine, but thought it was funny.
Ben, do not forget to use sun cream!!
CapeTown is THE most beautiful city that I've ever visited. It changed a lot (for the better) since I was there in '97- '98. Glad you got to experience it! It was fun to watch. Thank you! The South African biltong I tried while living in London , I didn't like. Therefore I didn't try it in S.A. A huge mistake I see.
Come to Vancouver Island in Bc Canada 🇨🇦
I wish you went to la colombe, or fyn, or salsify at the roundhouse they are Cape Town restaurants on worlds 50 best
Come to Australia! Most states have wine regions. The seafood pretty much anywhere near a coast. Rockhampton in Queensland for beef. Bundaberg, where I live for Bundaberg Brewed Drinks and Bundaberg Rum. Every state has something to offer. Plus, we are very multicultural and the cuisines from every country can be found somewhere. Overall, we are heavily influenced by Asian foods as they are so close. Worth a trip I reckon, even if it is a long one.
This is what happens when the tourism bureau gets involved. Bra, that's a kak fake gatsby, you bought biltong from a soutie who can't make biltong. Oysters and Cap Classique? Fokken nee. We HAVE the oysters, and the cream of the pretentious winemakers make Cap Classique. But we VERY seldom actually eat snot-on-the-shell and fake champagne.
What you ate was all South African tourist trap food. For the best, unpretentious Biltong you need to go to the Karoo. For a Gatsby, there's a few places, but I've never gone wrong with literally the first shop you drive into in Athlone. Can't remember the name, has a blue sign with yellow writing. Masala Steak Full House. Rooibos Tea is indeed very South African, but most of the time we have it the same as the English : Sugar and milk in it.
No issues with Faeeza, she's a awesome Auntie.
No comment on Chef's Warehouse, except to note that 99% of South Africans don't have the money to eat there. I worked at a related restaurant, and my average spend per table of two was higher than the average South African's monthly salary. And you know what the staff would eat? We lived on pies and alcohol.
I've had samosas, and they were good. But then i had samosas with a tamarind dipping sauce, good gravy! So much better.
Ivor is for sure a head chef. He also looks extremely tired.
It’s weird how YouTube isn’t pushing this series that hard, look at the ratings for these they are well down and I have to search for it rather than it being on my feed. What has Janice done to upset the YouTube algorithm??
Wow, Cape Town Looks so beautiful and interesting!!
Guys, you need to stop being afraid of wide shots of yourselves I the environment. It's an amazing series and I am so excited to watch more, but so claustrophobic. Check out Top Gear, they did it best. I know their team is way bigger and budgets are higher, but you can tweak things to make it so much more! Love you!
Please come to Aotearoa New Zealand 🤩
Come to New Zealand!!!
British cooks? lol
Been waiting for the Cape Town video… But why did you have to go to the most touristy area (that majority of the locals don't /can't access) go to the local shops to get the local foods (like gatsby)
In Barry's defense, the sea does not have the same taste everywhere, so the taste of seafood from different places has its own terroir. I grew up on the Texas Gulf (of Mexico!) coast, and the water East of the Mississippi River is quite different from West of the river.
Best biltong is in Gauteng. When are you guys trying some melktert, or koeksisters, or oxtail potjie, or biltongpotjie, or bobotie, etc.?
Guys please go watch Mark Wiens recent videos, those are the places to go in terms of food in South Africa
You can't go to the V&A Waterfront for Gatsby.
That's like going to South Kensington for Pie Mash and Jellied Eels.
Fabulous series!
