Its a good chippy that one. Had f&c there a few times. Every time we pass it theres always a queue. Only problem is its a beggar to park as its on a narrow bit of road on a corner right in the middle of the village and that road is a busy A road with plenty of HGVs passing through.
Was really confused for a minute when I saw the bike go by without a rider… Great review.

I used to be a cabbie in Manchester and I got a job that way once. Called into that chippy and got the fish and chips. It was that good I had to back in and tell the bloke who owned it. #fantasticfishandchips

I live in South Yorkshire, and if you ask for a fishcake, you get what he called a " Yorkshire fishcake ", and we also call the other on a " Rissole ", usually fish but some chippies also do a cheese n onion one !

Not to far from where i live, i'm sure it got voted the best chippy in England a few years back? i'm sure it won awards, every time i've ever been anywhere near it there was queues down the road for it, could never get in!!! there is also a indian just up the road from it where one of the rooms is built into the rock, that's a amazing restaurant as well been many times!!!!
