  1. A lot of people ask how my Japanese improved.
Practicing daily with Airlearn helped me feel more confident in real conversations.

  2. I came here from a recommendation! Beautiful eyes and a gentle voice are wonderful! People say that Japan is closed off, but I hope this video will change that perception! We don't make fun of people like Asama-san who try to speak difficult Japanese, and in fact we have a strong culture of praising effort, with people saying things like, "Amazing! You're good!"

Speaking Japanese can be nerve-wracking, but even if your pronunciation or grammar is incorrect, Japanese people respect the other person and their culture and will not make fun of someone who is trying hard to speak. If you can practice even for just five minutes on the plane and understand basic phrases like "thank you," "hello," "excuse me," and "gomennasai," your trip will be much easier. On the other hand, even if you don't understand the language, Japanese people have the ability to sense prejudice or malice from the "atmosphere." At that moment, they will transform into ninjas or samurai, so be careful (lol).

  3. Hello from San Antonio Texas 👋 I'm loving all your videos, so I started to follow you.. you should put longer videos, I saw you only have one.. 10 minutes is good 👍 thanks for sharing though.. 🙏🙏

  4. Love how you speak slow and simple so she can understand it.

I think it's so cool when people do that. Most of those who understand english on lower level understand a lot but struggle with too much words and fast sentences.

You dont have to speak perfectly to make yourself understandable

  5. I really like Your movies. You unlocked new type of interactions on YT. So honest, so real. Bruhhh

  6. Love the shorts, but suggest--to help those small businesses– that you add an extra 15 seconds to your shorts explaining the city, state, name and address of them so locals will start bringing some business in. Love local, mom & pop type eayeries but they cant really afford or compete with franchises because of low, local recognition.😅 Keep up the great work…THIS is how communities get built😅.
